My Autobiography

This week I presented my Autobiography in front of my class. There are some
personal information I have deleted because I'm being cyber smart.

Who am I?
Name: Charday.

Nationality and culture:  New Zealand and Maori .

Family: Mum,Dad and 6 brothers.

Likes: I like Netball and other sports, I like my family and friends, vegetables and fruits and my favourite is school.

Dislikes: I dislike bullying and not coming to school when I am sick.

Age:12 years old.

Where/When you were born:  I was born in Auckland, New Zealand.

School: Tamaki Primary School.

Background: My culture is Maori and I have a mum, dad , 7 brothers and 4 sisters in law. But I am lucky because I am the only girl in my family and I get a little bit spoiled by everyone, especially by my aunty.

Meaning of name/Purpose of name: My mum named me Charday because she wanted my name to be different from everyone else’s.

Embarrassing Moments: My embarrassing moment was when we were at my dad’s brother’s house with all of my family and we were playing volleyball.  My brother threw the ball high into the sky and when it came down it hit my head in front of all my family.

Horrifying moment: My horrifying moment was when my dog Snoopy got run over at night and was badly hurt.

Funny moment: My funniest memory is when I was helping my family for my brother’s 21st birthday party.  When it started to get hot  we  all went and bought Ice cream for everyone including my baby nephew. Then we went back to work and when we looked down to see if my nephew was alright, all we could see was ice cream everywhere and my nephew’s face was covered in sprinkle ice cream.

Best moment: My best moment was when I got to see all my brothers and my little nephew together and went  to Rainbow’s End.  I only get to see all my brothers together when they can make it home when my whole family have a party for a special occasion or for Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Aspirations
What I want to be when I grow up: When I grow up, I want to be a netball player and be selected for the Silver Ferns because my dream is to represent New Zealand and win a World Championship.
Why I want to be this person- detailed information about this aspirations:
I want to be a Silver Fern netball player because I want to travel around the world and meet people from lots of different cultures and experience the way they live.
Being a Silver Fern would teach me good teamwork and leadership skills that I could pass on to others.  I would like to be able to help other students who want to represent New Zealand by coaching netball.  If I became well known I would like to help others achieve their goals.
