1.1 PEA - Ultimate Frisbee (6/12)
- Explain the physical activity you participated in.
Ultimate Frisbee is like turbo touch but instead of using a ball we use a frisbee.
We had two teams four players in each team, your team need to work together to get the frisbee to the other side of the line where one of your players will be waiting for to catch it in able to score for your team.
- What level of effort and engagement were you participating at during today’s physical activity? Why? (Grade yourself NA, A or M and refer to marking criteria)
I would give myself an 'A' because I was organised before the activity, I was involved in the activity and I tried to improve on my skills. I can also reflect on my performance. For me to get to an 'M', I need to Support the development of others by assisting with their needs when it is required and also enhances the experience of other participants by adding my own input in the acitivty.
- What were three factors which influenced your participation? (Choose from the list below, and put a + or - beside the three factors to show whether it positively or negatively influenced your participation).
Challege = +
Classmates/Friends = +
Environment = -
- Explain HOW these factors affected your participation (with specific examples)
Challege
I think the challege in the activity was a postive affects on my participation because it helps me to think more on how to get my team to score points also on how to trick the other team for me to be able to have space for my teammates to throw the frisbee. The challeging part was the wind, the wind made it 10 times harder for us to score a point for the team because we have to think as a team to get the frisbee on the other side of the line.
Classmates/Friends
I think the Class was a postive affects in my participation because they made it fun for me to enjoy and play.
Environment-
I think the environment had gave a negitive impact in my participation because of the wind and coldness. The wind made it harder for me to catch and hear. The cold wind made harder because I was very cold to play.
- How could you increase your (or your peers) participation in this activity in the future?
For me to increse my participation, I need to support others by giving them feedbacks to help improve their performance.

The Musculoskeletal System 06/06
What are three types of muscles? Give Example.
As one muscle contracts, the other relaxes. When the triceps relaxes the biceps contracts to lift the arm.
What are some movements in the body and examples of the movement in a sport?
There are many movement in the body when playing sports. The movement in the arms when throwing or passing a ball or any objects this is called elbow flexion and elbow extension. The movement in the hips and thighs, it is used when running, jumping, walking and exercising . This movement is called hips flexion and hips extension. The last movement I can think of is the knees and ankles, this helps to kick a ball when playing soccer, this movement is called knee flexion and knee extension.
- Trapezius - Trapezius is a muscle on your back that is shaped like a upside down triangel. The Trapezius muscles are to move the scapulae and support the arm.
- Rectus abdominis - Rectus abdominis known as abs are a pair of long flat muscles that is located in front of the body. The rectus abdominis is an important postural muscle. It is responsible for flexing when doing sit ups.
- Latissimus Dorsi - Latisssimus Dorsi is a large flat muscles located at the back of the body that stretches to the sides, behind the arm and is right below the Trapezius also some muscels is covered by the Trapezius. The lastissimus dorsi is responsible for extension, adduction flexion from an extended position and internal rotation of the shoulder joint.

Describe what agonist and anatagonist muscels are.
Anatagonist muscels are a muscels that oppose the action of another.
Agonist muscels contraction moves a part of the body directly.
As one muscle contracts, the other relaxes. When the triceps relaxes the biceps contracts to lift the arm.
Examples are below.

Choose one activity we have completed in class and describe what your task was.
Whack a bone/ Poke a muscle
This activitiy we played an online game where we have to find the bone when starts. This game helped me to revise because it shows where the bone is and it will make you do it over and over again until you've got them all right.
Poke a muscle is the same but instead you are poking the muscle, same rules and everything. This helps me to remember where all the muscles are it also have placed new muscle everytime you complete to the next level.
These game were very useful for me as I was struggling to understand where all bones and muscle are in a human body when it was a class discussion. This game was useful because it was a simple task and because it was a fun game which engaged me to learn where bones and muscle are.

1.1 PEA - SoftBall Reflection (5/12 games)
Today we played a game of softball. We had 4 bases, one home base and the rest are for base one, two and three. The three bases are located like a triangle when you place the home base the whole thing should look like a diamond. We had a option either we wanted to use a tee or let someone else pitch the ball for you. There is two teams, one team is bating the other is feilding, once the feilding team get three people out it is a switch over which means the team that was feilding can then be bating. If the feilding team can not get three outs then the bating team can keep playing. To win the game both team have to try and get back to home base without being touchs by the person with the ball.
I give myself a merit because I was motivated and reliable during the game, I worked hard towards the goal even if my teams and the class were giving up. I supported the people who weren't feeling the game, I encouraged them to keep playing so that the class can have a positive game. I showed enjoyment during the game. I also tried my best to improve my performance skills.
Friends and classmates was a negative effect on my performance because it made the game boring, no one wanted to play so the game was kind of over. Fun and enjoyment was a negative outcome on my performance because when no one was playing or invloved in the game, the fun was gone and it was not an interesting game. My sense of achievement was a postive effect on my performance, I really wanted to play and I wanted to achieve my goals which was to get past the home base four times in a row without getting touched.
I could increase my peers participation by encourging them to work harder and to at lease enjoy the game that the teachers have planned us to play. I could increase their participation by supporting them and cheering them at a time where they need it the most, so that the game can be positive for everyone else.

1.1 Bench ball Reflection (4/12) Games
- Explain the physical activity you participated in.
Two teams
Two benches ( one on the other side of the court, same as the other side, facing one another)
Four balls ( two for each team. )
Two teams one on the other side of the court and the other. At the start of the game only one person from your team gets to run all the way to the other sides beanch without getting taged by the against team. Once somone is on the other side on the bench, your team have to try and throw the ball over to your team mate who is on the bench, if they catch the ball, ONLY one person can run to the other side where their other team mate is, (without getting touched by the opposite team) The other teams will be doing the same thing so some people from your team would have to defend the bench that is on your side ( making sure none of the other team members are crossing your line and is coming toward your bench that you have to protect.
Once you got all four team mate on the opposite bench, you and your team win the game, you can then start all over again.
- What level of effort and engagement were you participating at during today’s physical activity? Why? (Grade yourself NA, A or M and refer to marking criteria)
- What were three factors which influenced your participation? (Choose from the list below, and put a + or - beside the three factors to show whether it positively or negatively influenced your participation).
Challenge [ + ]
Equipment [ + ]
- Explain HOW these factors affected your participation (with specific examples)
Challenge was a positive affect on my participation because it helped me to think more about a strategies to get to the other side without getting taged.
Equipment was another positive affect on my participation because there were equipment we actually needed, no equipment was broken or got broken, we all took good care of all equipment.
- How could you increase your (or your peers) participation in this activity in the future?

Skeletal System.
- The skeletal system is to support your balance, protect your organ when playing sports and also your heart and bloodcells. It also have the role of movement. It helps you to move your legs when running and your arms when catching or throwing anything. There are 206 bones that all have different names. I learnt that the skull bone is actually called cranium which is something I didn't know.
This is a skeletal system made out of the P.E equipments we did for P.E. We were put into groups and we had about 5-10 mins to get any equipments from the P.E shed to create a skeletal system.

- What level of effort and engagement were you participating at during today’s physical activity? Why? (Grade yourself NA, A or M and refer to marking criteria)
I give myself an A because I attempted to improve my level of performance, I contribted in the game even though I had running nose. I was organised before and after the activity, I brang my gears and got to class early when we finished playing.
